Progressive Deduction System

Based on cumulative penalty points, deductions are applied to the final score as follows:

Final Evaluation Calculation

1. Base score calculation: While there may be slight variations per hackathon, it is generally out of 100 points.
   Base Score = (Judge Evaluation × 0.75) + (Player Peer Evaluation × 0.25)
2. Determine deduction rate based on penalty points:

• Based on cumulative penalty points, determine the applicable deduction rate from the progressive deduction system above

3. Final score calculation:
   Final Score = Base Score × (1 - Deduction Rate)
